Astoria Hotel

This hotel was absolutely excellent for our purposes. We were here for the weekend to hike through the Badlands. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after long days in the heat. My only complaint would be that the breakfast was a little bland but still good. Overall our stay at the Astoria was excellent.

The hotel seemed newer and we would probably stay there again if we stayed in the same area. They charged $20 extra for us as a family of four. That's the first hotel I can think of that did that. However, the price was still very good even with the extra fee. If you have two people the price would be excellent! The breakfast was fine and pretty standard but with a milk machine as well as a juice machine and coffee machine. They also had a waffle maker that makes three small waffles as well as the common one that makes one large Belgian waffle.

Partially under remodeling. But our room was great, she even made sure we were near a door so we could run our pooch if needed. Breakfast was good too.

After traveling cross country for 5 days a nice quiet clean and safe hotel was much needed. This gem of a hotel did not disappoint. From the friendly front desk and housekeeping staff they couldn't have been more accommodating. Traveling with 2 little dogs was no issue here. A convenient laundry is available as well along with a laundry basket! That's something I haven't seen before- An actual real breakfast is served at 6am sharp. Do not miss it! They have a better breakfast than I've seen at multiple starred hotels. Biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns or homefies, yogurts, cheese omelets, waffles, fresh fruit juices, and coffee! Clean, and I cannot say it enough, this hotel is spotless! Large sized rooms with mini fridge and food delivery close by. There's a pristine indoor pool with view of the Buttes ( not b@tts) and a large spa that's ideal after traveling. Defiantly deserves more than 5 stars, cliser to 9. A great value for your money and time!

Great stay. Newer hotel, quiet rooms, breakfast could be better - no yogurt or fruit to choose from. Only complaint was the first morning someone deep fried fish & it stunk up the whole place. Deep frying, old oil & fish don't mix in a hotel.

This motel is very nice. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfast was very good. Eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurts, waffles, and 3 kinds of juice. One of the best breakfast we've had at a motel! Room 103 needs a desk lamp. Definitely will stay again, as we travel to see family 2-3 times a year! Thank you!!

We booked through a third party site which misrepresented amenities and it caused a lot of stress. The kitchenette and pet- friendly rooms are not on the same floor, but the staff had no problems allowing our dog in a kitchenette room. The pool and workout room were closed due to covid and staff said they then had major issues with the pool which are being worked on. Their specific site notes that the pool and gym are closed, but the parent site and third- party sites still say there is a pool. The room was basically clean, though we found an advil at the base of a lamp and two tiny hairs in the tub. From talking with the front desk, I think manager, the hotel is severely understaffed like most industries these days. I'm sure this affects how much time is spent on each room. The manager (?) was very accommodating and came up with staff to clean further as we needed. The room was beautiful, not at all dated, and in good condition. Chairs by the fire in the lobby were worn; everything else seemed in good condition. Breakfast had a moderate selection of basic bread items, cereal, omelets and sausage. If I want a full menu I go to a restaurant! Contrary to a couple other reviews, the hotel DOES supply toiletries for those who don't bring their own, BUT they are in eco-friendly dispensers by sink and in shower rather than the wasteful miniature bottles. Since it was a quiet night I took my toddler grandchildren down to the large breakfast/ social area to play and run. The woman at the desk brought out a huge ball for them to play with. It made their day. I found both staff members with whom I interacted to be friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay, I will happily stay here again if Glendive is my stopping place.

Really nice hotel, right off I-94 at Glendive, MT. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful and made check in a breeze. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. What stands out is, instead of what typically is very suspicious carpeting, this place has sparkling clean vinyl plank flooring! Minimal dust and zero odors. No place for dirt to hide. Bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful pricing and beautiful hotel. We loved our stay after our day on the road. Pool water was nice and comfortably warm. Room was clean and comfortably kept. Staff was more than friendly. Breakfast was great, besides the biscuits & gravy and eggs. Gravy was pastey and eggs were in the square, folded, McDonald's style. I was still happy with the other options available though. Overall a wonderful place and I would most definitely recommend. The price doesn't even compare with other hotels, especially for the quality. Worth every penny spent, even though there weren't many spent!

Super clean, staff was very friendly, and I felt safe. During a blizzard that unexpectedly hit this spring, and all interstates and roads closed, we were stuck in Glendive. The front desk staff was great about giving us updates, and they even delayed checkout by 2 hours to give us time for the roads to open the next day. They also were great about us having our dog with us, with only charging a one time fee of $20. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Glendive, and we will be on the lookout for future Astorias to stay at!
